About Little Pilots Academy

About Us

The role of our centre is to work alongside families – taking the time to learn what makes your child special, understanding your child’s cultural background, and listening to what you want from the early education and care experience. As family members, you play the central role in your child’s learning journey. Your involvement in our centre activities and in the development of our programs is always encouraged.

We have created this Parent Handbook as an introduction to our centre. It provides information on some of the things we believe to be important. We have a complete set of policies and procedures which are available at our centre. If you have any questions about the information contained in either this handbook or in any of the policies and procedures, please don’t hesitate to speak with one of our friendly members of staff.

As a centre, we recognise that you are entrusting us with the care and education of your child. Every child is special, and we thank you for allowing us the privilege of investing into their lives during their early years

Our Commitment

Our Commitment to our families is reflected in all that we do - we:

  • Provide the children in our care with a happy and safe environment that recognises their individual skills, talents and interests
  • Provide fully qualified educators to oversee your child’s individual educational program and assist them with a comprehensive school readiness program when it is time for your child to make the transition to formal schooling
  • Provide a wide range of educational resources that are age and developmentally appropriate for all children in our care
  • Provide your child with endless opportunities to further their interests and gain experience with real life tools that they will use once they move to formal schooling.
  • Provide beautifully presented, easily accessible environments both indoors and outdoors that invite children to explore, make choices and empower them to make decision about their learning
  • Are committed to providing child safe environments and all educators are provided with regular child protection training.
  • Seek feedback from all stakeholders in the service on our policies and procedures to ensure that they are meeting our families needs.
